GWRDP, also carries out geophysical studies in terai districts to delineate the shallow and deep aquifer systems. Main Soil composition, which is of alluvial deposits, hence, resistivity method is mostly used in different terai districts.

From the survey, resistivity range of 'terai' for ground water potential is concluded as listed below:
